Descrizione: John Fitzgerald Kennedy fu assassinato il 22 novembre 1963. Il suo funerale fu celebrato nella cattedrale di St. Matthew a Washington tre giorni dopo la sua morte. La bara del Presidente fu trainata a cavallo al Campidoglio di Washington. Sia di giorno che di notte centinaia di migliaia di persone andarono a rendergli onore. Fu richiesta la partecipazione di unità militari, tra cui la scozzese “The Black Watch”.

Descrption: John Fitzgerald Kennedy was killed on 22 November 1963. His funeral was celebrated in in the St. Matthew Cathedral in Washington three days after his death. President’s coffin was pulled on horseback to the United States Capitol. Both day and night hundreds of thousands of people went to pay tribute. Partipation of some militar unit was request, of which the Scottish “The Black Watch”.
